Stone Vertical Epic

OK, so not even Stone Brewery can knock them ALL out of the park.  This is the fist beer by them that I was disappointed with.  Granted it's an ale, so I wasn't expecting much of a deep flavor, but even for an ale it was a let down.

Stone Smoked Porter

A nice smooth dark beer (nearly pitch black, always a good start), this beer has some very nice flavor and perfect for drinking at dinner.

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout

This was the first oatmeal stout I ever had, all those years ago.  And though I've had better since, it will always remain one of my favorites....tried and true.

Belhaven Brewery Scottish Stout

An average stout with moderate flavor but very little aftertaste.  Not bad for a chilly winter night.

Southern Tier Imperial Oatmeal Stout

A very dark brew, the taste was above average with a good kick.

Samuel Smith's Organic Lager

My first venture into organic beers I thought I'd start with a reliable brewery.  Unfortunately I was greatly unimpressed...it may be a while before I attempt another organic brew...

Young's Double Chocolate Stout

A very good beer...ranking up near Brooklyn Brewery's chocolate stout but falling just short.  Still, I would buy this one again.

Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout

A nice rich beer with great flavor.  Excellent choice.

Stone Imperial Black IPA

A 15th anniversary brew this is one of the better IPAs I've had.  Stone does it again...
